CHILDREN OUTREACH

“HOPE” INTERCULTURAL MISSION CENTER

I am debtor both to the Greeks, and to the Barbarians; both to the wise, and to the unwise.
Romans.1:14

Our year round Children Outreach ministry is a continuation of our work with kids from summer    camps as well as those by referrals.

These are very different kids mostly from Jewish and Muslim Russian speaking backgrounds.

Many kids are from single parent homes with personal problems. When we first meet these kids they    are often uncontrolled, antisocial, scream and cry a lot. They may exhibit anger and hate to other    kids, even suicidal tendencies.

We meet with 5 to 15 children from 10 to 12 years old, once a week for an hour and a half.

Our activities vary from teaching introductory stories about God to arts and crafts and outings to    pools, parks, ice skating.

Kids are very perceptive and when they hear that God is our Heavenly Father it touches their hearts    filling the void of having no parent fathers.

Seeing love and care from us they also tend to be more loving and caring toward other kids.

This ministry reaches kids in groups and individually through personal visits we make to homes.    Result of one-on-one meetings entrusts further relationships both with children and thankful parents    who see improvements in their children.

This ministry helps make contact with families for evangelizing.
